    I think you will find that this tartan has nothing to do with the TV show. It is rather older and was inspired by Landseer's famous painting of a proud stag in a Highland landscape. See:

    Thanks Hamish, I just thought it was interesting.
    I found so many tartans it is amazing I need to win the lottery or something so I can afford to get all the tartans i want.

    I have noticed that the show will display quite a few fellows donning Trews... like Duncan did in that one episode. Nice alternatice on those COLD winter days.

    I have a pair of authentic Cameron Trews (buckles and all) and they're actually quite comfortable. They'll be a great wear on the formal occasions.

    Still... seeing Duncan in a pair was like seeing Ozzie Osbourne in a Menudo t-shirt.

    Here's a question about the Hunting Stewart. Does it have a blue stripe in it, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? (I really need new contacts...another $200 down the drain. )
