Talking Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo

A number of us Masons will be attending as spectators what I am wondering about is what would be proper dress.

Casual kilt and coat of full PC. and silver. The event is indoors and in the evening. OK what ya got.

A good starting point would be to have an idea what the non kilted gentlemen are likely to be wearing. Do you know? Can you find out? Then, work from there.

I have been to the NSIT often. The audience is generally casually attired. You being from NS, I'm probably stating something you already know, including that it is held in an arena vice a theatre. I'd go for comfortably, casually kilted.

Casual kilted is how I went to the Edinburgh tattoo. Always safe and usually still looking better than most.

I've been to the Tattoo several times. Casual dress for the most part. The only people 'dressed up' were the dignitaries and the pipe bands. If all you were doing would be attending a show, then nicely turned out casual kilt attire would be very nice.

Remember, this is during the first week of July. It'll be uncomfortable in full gear.
