My deepest respects on you achieving your PhD. Sew a torrie on the Tudor Bonnet and get more miles out of it. Most Ren Fair attendees will follow suit and you'll be a trend setter as an era alchemist.
The interesting question is how many chemicals are involved in drafting Canadian Chinese martial arts musical themes?

    Congrats!

Hey Colin, you did well. Gaining a PhD is no easy task. So I congratulate you on all the hard work!!

My son, Colin, received his PhD two years ago, so I know what it takes to get through an arduous program.

    Colin,
You never mentioned anything about Kung Fu. I'm not sure how I feel about such an omission . We'll have to delve into this over a dram at the Caledonian. There is a "famous" Aikido book entitled It's a lot like Dancing, particularly addressing the very premises of your thesis, although not nearly as scholarly. Anywhooo, congratulations again.
