I have three type of kilts: Utilikilt, Bear Kilt and Stillwater Kilt. I have yet to experience any 'downunder discomfort' from them.
Like every else had said, it is a valid question.

I do know some people are alergic to wool and that could lead to some excitement if they strap on a wool kilt, especially if they go Regimental.
