Sandy Springs and Thursday sound good to me! Can't go wrong with St. Paddy day!

Weekdays are killin me....
It is great to see you all getting together with some frequency. I'd love to join sometime and Tripleblessed has been more than encouraging in trying to get me on board. My issue is with weekdays. Perhaps it will sound like an excuse but I just can't do things during the week. My responcibilities to family are the priority for me. Perhaps we can try for a Friday or Saturday evening sometime.
Anyway, I am very glad the group is coming together. Even if I cannot join personally, I am celebrating with you all vicariously through your posts.

I am certainly willing to do a Friday or Saturday kilt night. I'm swamped this weekend, but would be free (I think) for another. When and where would you suggest?

Saturday nights would be fine for me, as well as Friday after work (as long as I could get home by 6:30ish).

You may recall from Burns Supper prep I sent emails to former attendees; one replied he'd be glad to come but
Atlanta from India was too long a commute on a Buddhist monk's salary. He's in town for a while, and would like
to get in on something. I will send him this info. I hope to get there, but a dear friend picked this same time frame
to have his b'day supper. It's nearby, may mesh, may not. Was hoping this one would work for Leprechaun as
well. Perhaps another on a weekend while Gil is still in town might get both of them and some of us. We might be
able to rope Jim in, and one of the Burns Supper presenters shares surname with our monk and would like to get to
a kilt night to meet him.

What time frame is Gil (?) in town for? Perhaps we could set a kilt night for the 19th, as well as the one on the 17th?
Some seem to only be available on weekends, while some are only available during the week, so perhaps we should attempt 2 kilt nights a month, one weekday and one weekend?

Just sent him the info on Meehan's and asked the same question. And where in Atlanta he is. He knows Jim at least
a little from prior Burns Suppers, so it would be good to get Jim to one. You'll like him.

And I'm planning to leave the office around 4:30ish - Hope to be in the pub no later than 5:00. Look forward to seeing a fair number of bekilted lads and lasses.
