None of that stuff would work here, due to our "winters" being pretty much like our summers.
I'm pretty much a "traditionalist" I suppose. I really like all the Victorian photos of Highlanders wearing ankle boots, and I could see myself getting those someday.
These Doc Martens are kinda cool...

I actually wear a pair of black Doc Martens with my kilt when I'm going for a more casual look. Though, mine are a little more plain than those pictured. I do like those a lot though, I say go for it.
