They do have a pretty good sale on right now, especially on a Harris Tweet Jacket/Waistcoat set. In looking at the picture posted, I can't tell if they're kilt cut or Saxon cut, given they're displayed on a dressing dummy with a sporran that's partially covered up. Has anyone purchased similar goods from Kilts 4 Less?

Check my post history. I've posted at length about some of the items I've purchased from Kilts4less. Super, speedy service and good quality for bargain prices has been my experience with them.

    Kilts 4 less

Call or e-mail. A month ago I was in their shop and the Harris tweed jacket and waistcoat sets were surely cut for kilt wear. They are easy to do business with and will be happy to answer your questions. You won't be disappointed.

I remember when it was 1£ to Can$5.00 and also when the Canadian and American dollars were often just pennies apart.....both ways

They come in two colours... I thought I was getting the one pictured in the photo but was sent a grey tweed version instead. A little bit put out, but it is a good jacket. No epaulette or fancy cuffs, almost like a regular Saxon jacket. I will post a picture soon

Yes they have a number of high-quality heavy-weight kilts at the moment on Ebay.

I contacted them about one, they said it was part of a large number of ex-hire kilts they obtained.

    The prices are quite low.

I recently ordered an Argyll and waistcoat from them and was so very happy with the purchase the customer service and the shipping. I had ordered a black Argyll for my nephew's wedding from ebay however when it showed up I was not impressed, it was from offshore and the quality and fit were not what I had expected. I then searched the usual places on the top of the page and I found Kilts4Less I ordered it on Friday night after business hours and it was delivered on Wednesday after they told me on Monday morning that they did not have my size as an ex-rental but they could send out a new one in my size if I wanted. It arrived in a garment bag, not a cheap plastic bag mind you, a real garment bag with a zipper and a place for your name and address. I will be a repeat customer.

That's the thing about them. Many of the "ex-hire" kilts they sell sure seem to be Pakistani/Indian, the fabric, the workmanship. I have one, I know.

These have a distinctive look in the back, the belt loop and the leather straps.

On the other hand they have a number of ex-hire kilts they picked up somewhere which to all appearances are nicely made out of 16os UK-woven tartan.

Here's one like the one I bought that has odd-feeling overseas-feeling fabric, and overseas-looking workmanship, with the distinctive wide leather single belt loop

A totally different animal is this ex-hire kilt they're selling which appears to be an ordinary UK-made kilt, 16oz tartan, the sort of workmanship that would be expected, etc
