Welcome Joel and happy birthday for friday, I hope you get a nice hiking kilt for your birthday.

Have you checked out the Victory Kilts from USA Kilts?
I can tell you that they are very well made, even my wife agrees!

Welcome, Joel! Just be warned, Kilting is like eating potato chips - You can't have just one!

Oh durn it. hah. I've seen that pic on TG before. Awesome.

I had thought about trying to incorporate a lot of hidden pockets in a kilt. Sort of like the ScottEVest's gadget pockets.

I carry a lot of stuff with me. My phone, PDA (It's a Sharp Zaurus and kind of large), iPod (so I need a place to stuff the headphones), 12inch Powerbook (but that won't fit in a pocket).

Sounds like I need some kind of SuperSporran!

    Welcome to the fray.

If you're bored the weekends of September 4-5, or September 18-19, head down to the Renn Faire grounds in Crownsville and have a "go" at the kilt-wearing hords.

We'll be performing, so you KNOW there will be kilts.

The first is the actual Rennaissance Faire, and the second weekend is the Scottish Festival. BOTH are good times!
