It's 5:30 am, Saturday morning here. The wife is asleep, so don't wake her. I'm in for a yard (single or double - no problem for now). PM me an address and I'll send the check (money order, cashier's check, etc)
I'm thinking waistcoat in the W. O. B. tartan and the sensation is causing me to stifle a yell.

I'm ready to commit to enough WOB Carolina tartan for an eight yards knife pleated kilt and a waistcoat...with lapels.
Thanks again,
Craig

I don't log in much any more, but I'd like 2 yards of WoB. My esteemed neighbor Mr. Pope and I have kilts made from the same bolt.
Is Dalgliesh unavailable to weave this? They did the run that Matt ordered several years ago, from which my and my esteemed neighbor's kilts are made.

What I've always liked about the Carolina tartan is the similarity to the Caledonia tartan as it captures many of the same colours, which to me make it a very traditional tartan although it it obviously isn't.

In point of fact, it's actually a very traditional tartan.
The Carolina tartan is the same as WOB's 1819 Key Pattern Book "Prince Charles Edward Stewart" with a very thin (2 threads-4 threads) red line added.

Dalgliesh doesn't sell directly to the consumer anymore. Shame.

Peter,
Since the clear desire seems to be for the WOB, and since you are the foremost expert , I'm going to let you take it from here.
I know of another gent who might be interested, depending on the per-yard price.

Are we talking about single-width or double? Any guess on the per-meter price?
Thanks, David and Peter for taking on this project.
