I call it sexual flywheel mass.
Looking at all the sites, Chosing the store with such wonderfull fabric. Useing the guide on the site as a first time kilt buyer and non english native. Now i am the proud owner of a kilt that i can frame and put on the wall.
Next step: Saving up another 2 years, travel to scotland, geting a profesional to size me up and make me a kilt. Thats life.
    Cause i did all that
If you ease back one or two, the kilt might settle down some on/over your hips, with that odd pull of fabric to your left on the apron also settling out. It can take a little bit of getting used to the kilt being strapped on well enough to just hold it in place, even though you might feel its about to slip off. Try balancing the holes of straps on either side equally starting with "is this going to fall off?" and moving around a bit. Then going incrementally tighter if needed.
Where the kilt sits at the moment with the straps closed last hole, is my natural trouser line, if i put something up higher i will lose it in action . if i losen it up, well... same conclusion. my bodalishius **** movements will shake anything off. but oh boy, woult that kilt swing .
Thx for the help. Such a wonderfull community.
Still sad, i realy love the worksmanship and fabric put to that kilt.

Sorry to hear your having so much trouble with that kilt, if it won't work for you maybe you could try one of the custom order Pakistani models. They aren't perfect, but at only $99.00 they are close enough. You can use the one you have now as a guide for ordering a new one at least. Then if something should go wrong for some reason you wouldn't be out a small fortune.

Or what might be better is to try one of the off the rack versions, you would probably have to wear it higher however as 24" seems to be the standard length. If it looks like that length will work for you you could try it and still be able to return it if you can't wear it. What is the length of the kilt you have?

Long Story short. After long consideration and saving up, i orderd my first Kilt. It is a Casual Black Watch. May i upload some pics of me wearing it? My Bodyform may have distorted the measurements. Or i am to klutzy to do them right. If the Members could take a look and tell me if i look like ive put on a miniskirt, that woult help me a lot. Il take the Pictures after i come from Work.

Wish i could have gone to the Store to have my measurements taken. Onlineshoping, the bane of the poor.

    Till later

What's the drop on the kilt and how tall are you? What are your normal pants inseam (to get an idea of torso length)?

I was thinking about this and wondering why some more material couldn't be added to the top of the kilt. It might look a little strange but it would make the kilt longer. The only thing might be the cost, if its even possible.
