A few years ago I needed a black barethea argyll jacket for my nephews wedding as he was wearing the PC and I wanted to somewhat fit in and I thought it too hot for tweed. the first thing I did was go to eBay, however the jacket sent was a mess, I returned that and found a jacket from kilts4less

    https://www.kilts4less.com/ex-hire/e...cket-vest.html

This was the week before the wedding and they got the jacket and waistcoat to me in 3 days from Glasgow to Toronto. I opted for a new set as they did not have my size in an ex-hire but you may want to contact them.

That looks pretty nice McMurdo. Are the jackets Gaelic themes? What is your feeling on the quality? I maybe have to get a set myself.

I’m not sure who made it but will dig it out of the closet to take a look when I get home from work. I think the quality is fairly good especially for the price, I will also add that it came in a fabric garment bag and the buttons are removable. The quality is not at bespoke level however the customer service was excellent.

I would appreciate it. It sounds like a good value either way.

All it says in it is Made in Britain across the back of the neck. Nonetheless I am happy with the purchase.

Thanks! I was more concerned that it was a Pakistani product since I like to support commonwealth and American companies when I can.

It sounds like a good deal. I think I have one in my future.

How did you find the arm length? Did it match up well with their guide?

The arm length was perfect for me when delivered, which has been an issue in the past as I am a 42S so routinely have to have sleeves shortened.
