it wuz dark by the time we drove oan tae the ferry
tae heid back tae Arisaig...
bonny place Skye... but quite a disappointing day trip...
cannae say I care tae e'er return... but Emma (although disappointed aboot Talisker)
luved Skye and is happy tae return...

I did not know that the Talisker distillery had been modernised to that extent,what a shame. Perhaps there really are things that we should not know? Still, I suppose that, at least they were honest about their whisky, which is more than can be said of the tourist industry of Scotland in general, I am afraid. Great pictures nonetheless.

weel... I cannae say they arr "honest" ... whit I have written is whit I think the "truth" is behind whit the guide said...she put a very positive spin oan whit she said... fur example she said "we add a non-flavoured colouring additive to the whisky to give it the pure consistant, natural colour that people want and expect from Talisker"... 
and we think the "no photo" rule is there tae hide the fact that the place is run by computers...

Oh well, I`shall raise my glass of a rather good Taylors '63 port and drink to yet another shattered illusion! Then I will pour myself another glass and drink to the health of all the people here on Xmarks. Cheers everyone!
