As you all know this has been a tricky few weeks for me and my family and as I understand it, it will be for a while yet. Anyway I am on the mend!I am not sure I am quite ready to take on a deep and meaningful discussion on the the finer points of white hose, or flat caps yet though!

What I am really trying to say is a BIG THANK YOU to all of you. I cannot find the words to describe how much the pictures, witty comments and general words of goodwill have helped me, my wonderful family,friends and medical staff. There is no doubt it would have been an even bigger battle without your morale boosting support. Last, but not least, a very special thank you to Cynthia and Jane who have taken the time to keep you all informed of my somewhat worrying progress.

Can I assure you all that Jock is down but most definitely not out! Thanks.

I'm just so glad I decided to drop you a note and see where you'd been -- and I'm VERY glad Jane was able to get into your account to reply. Every update meant a lot to us, and we're still rooting for you to keep getting better! While I know you can't post as often as you used to (at least for a little while longer), I enjoy seeing your name pop up on the board.
