as an aside...here is a city I visited while in Germany. It is basically the most advanced form of a village we seek to create on tribal wars!

(it still has huge walls surrounding the city!)

that's awesome! I have no idea how you get stuff built up so fast. I keep checking the XMTS members ranking back on world 5 and I am sooooooo far down the list it's not funny.
How much time are you devoting to this?? I find it frustrating!!

lol im doing alot better in 5 than 6 but not that good im jealous lol .

I check it a few times a day. Before I goto bed I make sure my raiding parties are in and build something that takes a long time. like the 5.5 hour wall upgrades or the 3 hour resource upgrades. the rest takes care of itself.

I actually devote a good bit of time to it, check it about 10 times a day while at work and stuff, basically the same time as I check my email. I've done pretty well on 5 considering I started at the dead bottom of the list.
