A visit from the piano tuner yesterday put me on the receiving end of several awful puns:
1) he commented on a recent newspaper article, which referred to a long-standing local choir. His comment: "It's a pity they didn't give them some chairs to sit on."
2) Someone asked him if he played the piano by ear. He replied that he found it more convenient to use his hands.
3) A child had referred to a well-known piano piece by Beethoven as "Furry Leaves".
