    Annie,

We are all delighted to see Jock Scot back on our forum and know that he is on the mend. He was greatly missed.

Please keep us posted as to when he is fully recovered so we can know when to stop being nice to him.

After all we wouldn't want the crusty old fellow going all soft and nice on us!

    Cheers

Annie, thank you very much for the update. Your story about Jock coming out of the coma sounds just like I imagine him to be!

    Annie, Mrs. Jock,

By any other name you would still be the class act and strong woman we all would have imagined there behind Jock all the way. Thanks for the update. Give the guy a peck and tell him our flat caps are off to him. VERY glad to hear the recovery is going so well. His voice is missed around these virtual halls, although I see he is back posting again himself occasionally.

We played but a small part in Jock's recovery, when compared to you and the other loved ones and friends who have been physically present, and the medical staff of the hospital where he now lies. Put credit where credit is due. Just thank God Jock will still be with us a while longer, hopefully a lot longer.

    Dear Mrs. "Jock,"

As I'm sure you can tell by now, this forum has fostered a strong sense of community among its members and your "Jock" is such an important part of that. Thank you so much for taking the time to update the forum and to share that story with us. It certainly sounds like the Jock we've come to "virtually" know. I hope the toughest part of this recent episode is now behind you both and we can all look forward to continued improvement for Jock.

All the best to you, Jock and to all worldwide members of "Team Jock".

    Annie/Mrs. Jock,

Jock has been such a father figure/tutor/authoritarian/teacher and all around curmudgeon making sure we are minding our p's and q's of our highland dress that his being out of action has allowed us free reign. He will be having the time of his life getting us all back on the right track of no flat caps, correct this, correct that etc.

Right, seriously, we have all missed his grand insight on proper highland wear and will be happy to have him back when he is fully recovered. Things just haven't been the same while he has been laid up. Thank you for updating us on his progress and know that we will be sending up more prayers during his recovery.

I think we need to get a covert operation in working order to break him out. Maybe we can send him 'presents' like they did in Colditz (files, exscape maps, etc). We can come in over the wall, enter via the basement door that I will bribe a guard to leave open, quick crawl past the nurses station, shimmy past the bedpan and pop him out of there. I will need a diversion. Someone throw a Haggis bomb into the nursing station and we make a run for it pushing Jock's 'Hot Rod' bed to the elevator. Someone will have to turn out the lights when we get there though.....

We can make this plan work !!!!
