As I was leaving I asked my own server if I could get a photo taken with some of the lasses -- said that I mainly wanted to document what I was wearing, but that having some lovely ladies in the photo certainly wouldn't hurt. This is it, below; the one who winked at me is the raven-haired one on my left:
Wow, that's quite an experience! I have to ask: you mentioned you wanted a picture with them...but where are you in this picture??

Great name and purpose for a Friday.
Be cool and chill out in your kilt. I found that was a nice expressive way for a kilt admirer to describe my kilt.
I beieve the term is kilt hose and garter tops. Meaning tassles ? Roddy

One of the complements I get from Kilt admirers is "you look really smart today.Whay are you wearing the kilt?"
My rsponse is "I like wearing the kilt bcause it is practical and comfortable.I like to look smart when I am on Holiday. That is why I am wearing the kilt today."

Road the Raleigh to a casual work meeting at a cafe this afternoon whilst kilted. Black Watch, black hose, brogue boots, black tee. A couple of interested looks from the hipsters, no comments pro or con. Being an upright style of bike, it's an easy bike to ride in a kilt.
Might need to work from home more often on Fridays so I can be comfortable and kilted!

I had this Friday off from the day job and did chores around the house that kilt wearing wouldn’t have been practical. On my part time job at the big box store, I filled in for a fellow employee who needed the evening off. I wore my khaki 5.11 Tactical kilt. Received lots of positive comments from customers and employees who don’t see me on Sundays when I wear one.

Not so much a Friday adventure, but it was 95 degrees and humid here yesterday so my 5.11 TDK was just what the doctor (or the weatherman) ordered.

Kilted (PV MacKenzie) as usual this past Friday to for grocery shopping, lunch with a couple of friends and some research at out local Jaycar electronics store.
The checkout girl at the supermarket asked if I played the bagpipes? I told her "No, out of respect for the pipes!" I tried once but I could give credence to the old joke about why pipers walk while playing! ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Turns out the checkout girl's father plays the pipes in a local band. We had a really nice chat to brighten up a mundane chore.
No comments form my lunch-mates.
And a nice compliment to round off from the Jaycar assistant.
Regards, Sav.

Not a Friday adventure but a fun Saturday evening. I got called to work at 3:45 a.m. got home by 3:45 p.m. My wife and I went to the Reno POPS orchestra performing for our local Art town celebration. The theme of the evening was "Under the big top" at one of Reno's outdoor amphitheater at a regional parks , lots of kids and fun. A very nice young lady 12 to 14ish came up to my wife and I said " I really like your kilt my family is Irish." Had one guy trying to be funny remark "I like your pants" . Other than that a very nice evening I saw one other kilt, a black utility type kilt. I was wearing my HoS Freedom tartan.
