The belt loops are on the back as well. When used backwards they frame the belt buckle nicely..;)

I do not recall seeing a guy wearing his kilt backwards, but I have seen one wearing his with the basting stitches still in place. Admittedly, it was at a social function at which I was also kilted (what else?!). I simply took him to one side and quietly asked him if he realised that they should have been removed. In all truth, he did not. He admitted that he had collected the kilt just minutes before attending the function and had changed into it on the premises. After disappearing for a few minutes, he reappeared minus the stitches. Later, he made a beeline to give me his thanks. "Now I know what everyone means by the 'swing factor'", he told me!!

Hey Paul... Aftr looking a bit closer, I'm not so sure this guy is wearing a kilt at all. His girlfriends pleated skirt, perhaps?

I saw pictures of a kilted golf tournament where several of the players had the pleats on the left and the apron on the right, I supposed they assumed the strap with the buckle should be in the middle...

Even though this guy doesn't have his kilt on backwards, he sure is a train wreck of kilt fashion!
