Glad to have you aboard. From one newbie to another I can tell you that the Stillwater Standards are a bargain. I'm very pleased with mine thus far. I think you'll find no better starter kilt for the money invested. I understand the heavyweights are even nicer. Unfortunately they are only offered in a very narrow selection. If your going to invest in a sporran I'd look somewhere other than Stillwater tho. I found the sporran I purchased from them to be much less of a bargain.
