Sherry, YES! In fact, I actually asked her to comment on a kilt I was eyeing on eBay and she said "Absolutely NOT!", and provided a link to another kilt that she liked better!!!! And tonight I decided to lay out my outfit for tomorrow (I have been spending too much time evaluating clothing choices in the morning!), and asked my wife to come up and help out and she was happy too! She still thinks I am going through some kind of midlife crisis, but has decided it could be much worse.

Nice to meet some more of the crew. Thanks for the welcome all!I've been on holiday in Cairns for a bit and only got to kilt it in air-con as it's a touch humid (northern australia for those not sure where).
back now and into fabricating a buckle. doing a "quick" piece in nickel silver first but it's still a bit of work of course.I always get carried away. so far a textured border and some broad knotwork with the negative space cut out. getting there and I'll promise to post the results.
