    Self colour kilts

I have two self colour kilts: one green, one brown. A kilt doesn't need to be of tartan to be a kilt. Both of them are based on the Scottish kilt and I wear them with sporran, etc. I also have two UKs, no sporran, etc. I mostly wear them to work around the yard or setting up Highland Games. The Scottish kilts and the contemporary ones fell very different to wear, but that's part of the fun of having both kinds.

I'm still trying to convince my spouse to agree to my purchasing a khaki kilt from Freedom. I think it would look great, but I keep running into resistance. :-x

GlassMan, I really liked it too. Right now I'm using a cane inside and a walker outside.

Robin, Glad you have decided to get a Freedom Casual. I think you will find the majority of people will refer to it as a kilt.

I actually had one in December when I fell down the stairs in my house for the umpteenth time and my face took a glancing blow off the railing.

I've managed 4 falls down the stairs in December alone. I'm having a new house built and it will have an elevator but it's taking pretty much all my resources to make it happen. Worker's Comp doesn't want to pay for the elevator even though it's a medical necessity, and I'm not even going to start ranting about those lousy snots at the Red Cross who refused to even review applications of assistance from firefighters injured at the Pentagon on 9-11 much less do anything to help us.

So that's why even at almost midnight on most nights I can be found in my workshop toiling away with the occassional break to pad my post count ;-) . I'm just glad that I've managed to pull myself up by my bootstraps, a lot of the other guys who were disabled haven't been able to. It's a total mess, but I won't bother you guys with all that. It's not really kilt related and this sure isn't the off-topic category.
