Well guys, I now understand why everyone was raving about the "new" Stillwater Standards. My Hunting McLeod arrived today and what can I say but "WOW"! This thing is fantastic! My wife and I were on the way out the door to go to the mall when the post lady rang the doorbell. Needless to say, we were late getting to the mall, and I was wearing my new kilt (and SW Thistle kilt pin) rather than my UK that I had on earlier.
Here's a quick pic that my wife took as soon as we got home.

Looks great.
But I've got to say that I love the shirt too.

Hehehehehe!
Rigged found those at a Target store last year and was kind enough to buy and ship one to me. It's my favorite shirt to wear when kilted, for obvious reasons.
I still want to come up with a good t-shirt design for the "Crushed Nuts" line in my sig file.

Irish colors?
Any word on the 2006 Irish colors? The old ones were VERY bright green. I prefer a little more muted, especially with the acrylic being less likely to fade. I didn't know if Jerry's deal was with his original supplier or if Edgar is new to him.

Congrats on the new Stillwater! I'm trying my best not to order one till I get caught up on accessories..I may have to nail my credit card to the floor and throw away the hammer....

The kilt looks great, Al.

I got my 2006 Irish National Standard last week, and the green is still rather bright. I thought it would be somewhat darker. Still, a very beautiful tartan.
