I would have to go with kilts. I have enough to wear a different one every day, and I wear them full-time now anyway.

Kilts, without a doubt! Even when in the forge, I could opt for a slightly longer kilt than normal (bottom of the knee or even an inch or so below) and tall boots to protect my legs.

Nick , don't you wear an apron when you are forging?
MrBill
Can't answer because as things are with my Handyman business I have to dress to the work involved. Crawling under houses or in atics No way would I wear a Kilt. Sort of goes with leathers and My Goldwing.

Kilts for sure!
They keep me off Harleys...too young to be an organ donor yet.

Ron, as always, I like your style! Personally, I have never understood the fascination with motor-cycles - although I did own one (cannot remember what it was though!) back in the '60s before I was driving a car. Thesedays I have a car - out of necessity - but only a small one: Renault Clio.

Ham, I have no explanation for motorcycle fascination either, I have had an instinctive draw to them since I was a child. I have owned at least one for most of my adult life, and something about them just feels right for me. I also have a private pilot's licence, with about 150 hours flight time, and I am not nearly as attached to airplanes. My wife and sister also have motorcycles, and I worked as a motorcycle funeral escort officer when I was in college.
My uncle was an Army motorcycle dispatch messenger in WW2.
I am currently shopping for a used sidecar-equpped motorcycle to add to my collection. As much as I love Harleys, I might get a BMW for my next new bike, just to try something different.

Good thing you pickled them for future use!
I ride with my kilt off and on. I used to be paranoid about fly-ups, but it never happens. The truth be told, I have been riding for over 20 years and I have never worn full leathers. If I were "dressing to crash" I would be in full leather with a full-face helmet. Since (at best) all I usually worn was jeans and a leather jacket with a 3/4 helmet, I bought a full-face and started wearing the kilt more. I figured it was a fair trade.

I'm not real big on motorcycles, and now that I can't use my left leg to stabilize I doubt I'll ever ride one.
But for some reason I've always loved the look of trooper boots. I just don't know how they'd look with a kilt.

Hmmm ... given only one choice, I would choose both kilts and pants. And I do. I now have only one choice (pants), yet I wear kilts as well.

Not often. I have one, but I only use it for things like grinding or forge welding.
