Hey don't complain....in some parts of NYC that's a studio apartment....maybe a one bedroom if you're lucky....

That's a wonderful looking kilt.
Might I suggest that if you're not going to wear the sweater (or a vest) that you wear a kilt belt though. It just seems to complete the outfit even if it serves no functional purpose.
That being said, it looks great as a kilt and even better on you. The photo with the sweater just looks like such a comfortable outfit.

Now Yaish, don't be bitter... Look at the good points; we don't have to deal with sub-freezing temperatures for half the year, and in the winter, we can surf Huntington Beach in the morning, hit the desert in the 4X4 for some afternoon off-road fun on the way to Big Bear, and fall asleep in a snow-bound cabin after some night-skiing - all in one day!

True! I'd gladly trade a large house with an apartment in California when we don't see the sun from November 20 to January 17. We need a large house when it is dark most of the day and the the proximity to the ocean makes those -20 seem awfully raw; and we can't get to the nearest wine shop 70 km away as the mountain pass is closed due to bad weather... Summer is nice, though: doesn't get dark at all for two months.
Aerial shot taken last week, the other one on my way to work this morning (-18 c).

What a wonderful way to start the day: finding all your kind feed-back and responses!
Moosehead: Yes, it is a true Arran. Clan Murphy...
Riverkilt: Quite right, Norwegians have to have a Freelander. I have one being made for me at this very moment. Is the term jonesing applicable now? (First time I use the term...)
Thanks again for nice words

That is a very nice looking kilt. I think your sporran height is pretty good.
As far as sweaters go, doesn't Rocky have some sweaters on his web site for a decent price? And What Price Glory is selling some sweeeeet turtle necks on his site for a good price.
