    I like black with a kilt. Here's my pic of my black shirt worn with my Irish National. I plan on wearing this combination out to dinner on Friday night (Saint Patrick's Day) i've shortened the sporan strap since this pic.

    A black Argyll Jacket and a black Prince Charlie look wonderful with a kilt, therefore a black shirt will also look good. Most all of the tartans have black lines in them.

    IMHO the black shirts look great.

    I like it Al, the black goes well with the tartan. I wear a black shirt often with black hose (sorry hamish)

    NOW back to the topic at hand... saw a really cool grey on grey fabric yesterday while out shoipping with 646guy... would look great with black shirt & hose - gonna add that one to the list...
