Welcome aboard
Going kilted seems to break us out of our shells. As you can tell, the ladies and gentlemen on this board have a great abundance of wit, charm, intelligence, and intelluctual curiosity to balance off the more unsavory portions of their characters (except, of course, the ladies have no disagreeable attributes.) You appear to fit in already.
"Listen Men.... You are no longer bound down to the unmanly dress of the Lowlander." 1782 Repeal.

Greetings. I can't call you the Supreme Canuck, 'cause that would be my wife. As she gently reminds me occasionally.
Welcome to the forum. It is always nice to have more Canucks.
Still can't figure out where all of our downhomers are.

Welcome
It's always good getting new folk on board. Whether you're new to the board or new to wearing a kilt--either way, it's a plus. I hope this community will be as much of a support and resource to you as it has been to me.
Welcome and best wishes,

That's all right, no one is really sure what to say when they welcome you either!
So, uh...

It is quite the sight. The Frecs themselves, though... those people are imposing. Purple head to toe, wild hair, eng jacket, BIG chains... and a kilt. Great thing to see.

Well, geez! I should head out to B.C. sometime. Sounds like fun.

Do I qualify? Both my oparents were born and raised in Nova Scotia. Dad on the Bay of Fundy, and mom in Yarmouth. Still have family out there. Wonderful place.
And to everyone else: thanks! I don't think I've ever been welcomed to a place as thoroughly as I have been here!

Absolutely! What you need, clearly, is a nice Nova Scotia tartan kilt.
