That was a favorite line of an ex of mine which is one of the main reasons they are an EX.....
Just sent an email to the seller via e-bay - gonna see if he is agreeable to meeting up so that i can takle a look at the stuff first hand. I mentioned the HUGE interest in his product here at Xmarks so that might make him a bit more agreeable....
I will report back the outcome as soon as i know more
ITS A KILT, G** D*** IT!

I contacted the guy through ebay yesterday to ask about the MacLean taht he offers (...is it Modern, Hunting...etc...) and he responded by the end of the day. Doesn't have any MacLean on hand but will "let me know" if and when...
I note that his feedback is good but that only one of the feedback responses is from someone who bought a kilt...as it has been noted, his primary business is LP's (I'd be interested in some of those but his inventory reads almost exactly like my piles of not-so-obsolete-as-you-thought records....oh, hell...am I old or what? You young whippersnappers with the CD's and the MP3's and the Rock and the Roll and the Hip and the Hop!)
So a 27" length, huh....can that be right?
G'Luck on yer quest, UmAn....get the facts...kilted men want to know!

ps....be circumspect so he doesn't jack up the prices....

...oh, and the email in respponse to my question was signed "Bonnie"...so i expect that it's a woman...
....unless Charles Edward Stuart is back again and is selling records and kilts in New York...pretty far fetched, I know but I swear that I had a beer with Atilla the Hun a couple of weeks ago...

The 27 inchers have not been hemmed...
I contacted the person who is listed as having purchased a kilt. I asked a lot of questions, which she (!) answered to my satisfaction.
Also there appears to be two folks in the operation. All my correspondence has been with Scott, but Bonnie emailed me an additional photo of the MacDonald tartan.
Unless of course that's "Bonnie Scott"
