    E-bay spam

    E-bay does not send spam as far as I know;
But other jokers send scams labeled e-bay or with the name of some bank or other, asking you to confirm your codes. These messages appear to have come from e-bay or a bank, but are fraudulent.
    Never respond!!!
Once you have given away your account codes, anything can happen.

(this ought to go in some other thread, really)

    ebay

so how many people have bought one of these ebay kilts.. besides me?

compared to other " casuals" it is of a heaver fabric & more of it. the set & line do hold true. the straps of 3, I say let them be. but after some hard wearing & some long drinking. er is that hard drinkin & long wearing. the pleat stitching has come undone in a few locations.. so ya might want to figure on buying a needle & thread along with it.. but for $50 & some personal sewing time.. still not to bad

The letter I got said I had bought a phone and I need to verify or stop the order and to contact them. I looked like a paypal but the link was to something totally different.
needless to say I forwarded to paypal and deleated the message.

Most of those kind of email my spam filter stops from showing.

Back on topic I think I will see about the CAMERON TARTAN KILT seeing they list it in my size and hemming is not a problem.

I haven't as of yet. I think about it and then laugh quietly to myself and click on return.

The test drive -- I wore the kilt to class tonight with much praise from my students. Throughout the evening it stayed well in place, no bunching beneath the sporran or shifting of the aprons. The mass of material in the rear provides bodacious swing. All in all a very comfortable kilt. I had planned to have one of my students photograph me in the classroom, but the camera’s memory card decided that tonight was the night to die. I will submit some photos when this problem is resolved.

The bottom line – I paid $50 for the kilt, plus $10 shipping, making it cheaper than many of the other budget lines. For the money spent I am very pleased. My only major complaint is the straps, which are easily replaced. I will be ordering at least one more in MacDonald for my son, and perhaps another MacDonald for myself.

I would have to say that if you are looking for a mid-weight kilt that you can use where you’d fear to take your heirloom-quality kilt, this is a very good deal.

I received my Blackwatch from them on Saturday..

It's my first tartan kilt so I really didn't have anything to compare it to, but I will say that it was VERY comfortable and I've worn it a couple of times since it came. I definitely plan on getting another from these guys.

I'm with Ham...don't need it. If vendors don't want to provide an alternate way to respond, or won't answer responses, that's their decision and I'll be fine without their product and I'll feel safer not doing business with an unresponsive stranger.

    Glad it works for you.

The spam which is more of a problem for me is the ones that are wanting to "enlarge your manhood in 3 days" and selling viagra and cialis. I'm wondering if my wife is trying to tell me something
