mudd, that might be a concern but most of the time I'll be wearing the real thing. Besides, I have pleanty of shelac to fix it I'll probably make up a sheath for it later if that does become a problem.

Looks awesome, but it's still a sgian dubh, as it still has a blade. I wouldn't try to wear it as a dodge around any blade restrictions; wooden or not, it still has enough point to be lethal.
