Aw foohey! Sounds like we must have the same genes. I'm glad for bad luck 'cause if it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all! It could be worse. I don't know how, but I'm sure I'll find out soon! Hope your car troubles work out.

My laundry room, living room and kitchen were under water. I think you all had a better time than I did. My wife did point out that it turned out to be a good thing that we were not in Seattle at the time, and it was good that I had arranged to be off work so I could be there to clean up the mess. Sometimes I hate optomists.

Sorry you weren't able to make it, Jamie. Perhaps next time we're down we'll make sure we have enough time to head to your part of the state. I'd really like to ride the bike down one of these days.

Jamie,
At least one of them is back up and running. The reseal job went well, but had a little scare there, since it still looked like it was leaking. Had a brain fart and forgot to tighten up the hose clamp on the radiator hose. I kinda wonder if it was because I was bifurcated while working on the water pump.
The other one will be done Monday and Tuesday. Just going to swap my spare engine and transmission in from my parts car. Engine ran better, and the transmission worked perfectly.
How's the house cleanup going?

The insurance man has been to see us. This is going to work out in the end but it's a much bigger problem than I first thought and it's going to take a month or more before we're back to "normal" (if there is such a thing).
Al, I'm glad you had a good time, I look forward to the chance to ride with you either here in my stomping grounds or there in yours. I wouldn't mind at all taking a ride up to your neck of the woods. One way or another I'm sure we'll do it.

Well, hope it goes well...

P.S. yes, I am a procrastinator. Waiting until the last sunny day we'll have for a while to take care of the car.
