Thanks for the link those look like a good buy, they do have a group of heavyweight Arans in the same colors.

The Capsian Blue and Moss Green colors would look great with an Ancient Lamont or Ancient Campbell kilt.

I don't want her spending that kind of money on me but she said that she would split the cost with my mother and they would get it for me if I really wanted it. I love it but I'm still trying to decide how much use I will get out of a $200 sweater.

Those are really aran style sweaters. There is nothing wrong with them and I have one myself. However, they are not the real thing.
