If, you're going to tackle Shelley's original Frankenstein, try to get ahold of the edition illustrated by famed comic-book artist Bernie Wrightson:

The pen-and-ink drawings are fantastic. He's the only artist to ever get the monster "right", IMHO....

Sounds like me . Never happier than when reading. And I don't read just "good" literature. In fact, I mostly read "trash", and I do agree that Shelly's Frankenstein is not a very exciting read. Think I feel a new thread coming on-What's Your Favorite Genre/Style of Book? or What's the First Novel That Really Affected You?
