I'm a huge tiggers fan from way back, even when they were absolutely horrible.
I love rocking my Trammell, Whitaker, Morris and Gibson jerseys out to the CoPa. Love the new team too of course, doing us proud!
Go Tigers!
(remember, that's a team in the American league, where they actually play baseball and leave the batting to the people who know how, no insta-outs!)

Actaully, the COOLEST moment of all the baseball I've seen was the introductions of game 1, in Atlanta-Fulton County.
When Joe Torre was intoduced, he got a spontanious STANDING OVATION. The ONLY time I remember that a group of fans gave the OPPOSING MANAGER a standing ovation.
Joe was a former Braves player and was their manager for years of frustration (both Joe and his brother Frank played for the Atlanta Crackers minors in Atlanta and for the Braves).
The series itself was the second closest series (just a tad under the Twins) that the Braves SHOULD have won. I saw ALL the games in Atlanta.
In my closet is also a Braves cap with the 1996 World Series patch on the side. I am PROUD of that one. Every time I wear it (or even look at it), I remember that ovation.
THAT was also the series that made me HATE many (NOT all) of the Yankee fans (they were just obnoxious and brought out the biggest Atlanta idiots too, and John Rocker-> Idiot Supremo).

Diamondbacks fan here....even finally accepted the new colors and bought a DBacks jacket and cap for this year.
And...way way back when we beat the Yankees in the World Series...
Just, dang, we seem to keep giving our best players away to teams you guys are rooting for...where's Gonzo? Where's Finley? Where's Shilling? We found Randy again, but he got OLDE...
And, always wondered why sports writers don't write up a game talking about all the manager's decisions during the game and how they worked out.

Ugh. I think they're terrible. There's what, 20 teams wearing essentially the same uni's this year?
At least the black/turquoise look was unique.

Born and raised a Cubbie fan. Even though I live in Arizona - and have become a big Diamondbacks fan - I guess I'll always bleed Cubbie Blue (or else my mom will snatch me bald-headed). I love listening to the D'Backs on the radio while knitting in the evening, but for going to actual games I really love the Minors more than than the Majors. I wish we had a team in Flagstaff, but everyone seems to run out of breath playing ball at 7,000 feet....

When the M's are playing well, then I'm a Mariners fan. Otherwise, I don't bother listening or watching any baseball games, nor do I go to any games.

Hey Kallen,
Gracie even PITCHED an inning for the Diamondbacks. Did okay. We were way way way behind in a game and the manager didn't want to waste the bull pen, so Gracie pitched the top of the 9th...he had a ball and so did everyone else.

He's announcing DBacks games now.

Steve Finley pitched an inning for the Backs, back in 2001, as well. That was another useless play-it-out game. He didn't give up a homer like Gracie, but he did walk one and plunk another. But they both managed to get their three outs. No doubt due to the batters' inability to maintain any composure, b/c of all the laughter...
