Hope your injuries heal quickly. The idiot who hit you will most likely end up in a wheelchair or in jail.

Oh man. Sorry to hear that. As everyone else has pointed out, at least you're both ok. Scary stuff.

Hope you or your friend got a good discription of the truck. From the look of the front end of his car there must have been some damage to the truck. Don't worry about the not being able to play for a month, it will pass soon enought.
It's the whiplash that can be more long lasting.
Hope you get well soon,

Jeez, sorry about the collision - glad you limped away. Would assume if the police have any interest the vehicle will be easy to find. It must be messed up too.
Sounds like you could use the loan of some of those electronic bagpipes to stay in practice while you heal up.

Thank god you're alive and well and should make a good recovery from your injuries. The terrible carnage on the roads always worries me - however careful you or your driver may be, you never know what another driver might do that you would simply find it impossible to avoid collision. A month will pass quickly and you should soon be piping again.

Greg,
We are rejoicing greatly that you're still with us, and not hurt MUCH worse.
On the much less important concern . . . I second Ron's idea . . . electronic chanter?

But no, I guess this means I'll just have to concentrate on my Uilleann piping! No strong breathing required!!!
Here's a photo:

Dude! did the doctor also say you had to stop wearing kits for a month as well? I'd think that cinching up that top strap on a tank would give good support for the lower rib cage.
