Bobbie and I will be attending the Storrington Gathering at Hamish's invitation. We plan to fly into Edinburgh where we will hire a car. Then tour some weavers, kiltmakers, distilleries, and historic spots.
We also hope to meet as many of our X Marks friends as we can squeeze into three weeks.
The drive down to England will hopefully give us a chance to visit our growing list of "Must See" locations.
Bobbie has never been to Scotland and the last time I was there was '63.

The F-H.C.A.G. and I hope someday to get there.
Our more immediate interest is in the Storrington weekend next summer. Still thinking about it.
Cheers

I'm in the someday category. I tried to convince the wife to go a few years ago and she said "no, kids are too young."
So we wait a few more years

If our home roof repair doesn't cost too much, my wife & I will go this Fall at the beginning of October so I can attend the annual Clan Donnachaidh meeting in Bruar. We hope to spend 2 weeks traveling all over Scotland.
Anyone have any experience with the low-fare Scottish airline, flyglobespan? I just heard about them recently & they have some amazingly low prices listed on their website - http://www.flyglobespan.com/
OK, so for North America they only fly out of 3 US cities & 3 Canadian cities & their prices vary from city to city & date of travel, but $128 w/ tax to fly Economy from Boston to Glasgow??? Unbelievable!
.
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!
