You never know, after they've seen you in a kilt maybe some more of them will start to follow suit and come wearing theirs. I had the same at a works Christmas dance here in Edinburgh a few years back. I was the only guy in a kilt can you believe that - here in Edinburgh! Anyway next year loads of the guys turned up in kilts so you never know.

To me, and I am new here, but I just love wearing a kilt. If i were going to a social function, that even hinted of a chance to wear one, I would. Honestly, it's about personal preference and comfort levels. I honestly would have been just as shocked as beowulf about the lack of kilts, cause to me ...that shows off my Scottish heritage more than anything else. Just my thoughts on it.
