Anyone in a deciduous zone might be hard pressed to find an evergreen sprig of a particular variety. As we are spread around the world, I think it narrows the availability too much. Dandelions might not grow everywhere on earth, but they seem to give it their best shot.

I voted no only because it's a constant reminder to get off my butt and mow the grass and get the wife off my back. However if it's a dandelion that's gone to seed...

    A Dandelion IS a WEED!!!!!!

    BUT . . .

A THISTLE is a WEED TOO!!!!!!

    Thus, NOT OBJECTION TO ME.

    The OTHER suggested option:

    NO!!!!!!!
That is the Plant Badge for Clan MacArolin (my OWN group, which hasn't quite taken off yet)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Kudzu isn't quite common enough internationally. Dandelions ARE.

Aye, a dandilion is what it is, a weed. Come to think of it, the thistle is considered a weed too. So, I suggest we stick with weeds. Now, maryjane is already taken. Poison ivey may be available... just imagine being challenged to stick your face in poison ivy. Now that's manly. Ok, how bout... thorn bush
