I'm with Mac, (if they let you go kilted) cummerbund would keep you in 'uniform' except for the kilt. If you're not in the front row, no one will even see. You be kind of 'Kilted Tuxedoed'.

This is a time totry not to stand out. If you get away with the kilt, be greatful & try to otherwise blend. Such times as this is not when you want to be different. Personally I'd opt for tru's is a case like this.

Very kewl.
Well, the director said that he liked it, but that it probably wouldn't work very well. So, I guess I'll just have to don trousers for the performances. Unless I can get all the other men in the choir kilted MUAHAHAHAHA!!

Well he didn't say no up front at least, but I think you are better off anyway in this instance.

Even if you could only get your section kilted, that might make it "uniform" enough that you could make it work!
