I'm still in (far as I know) and I'd be interested in a kilted stroll after dinner.
Since the stroll is right after dinner I'm calling it "kiltercise"....that way I can justify getting desert this time.

I'm thinking of getting a table for 4:00 or 4:30. This would give people time to gather and enjoy the bar space. Folks, please let me know if this is too early/late to think of eating.

I'm afraid I won't be able to make it Dec. 8th, after all. ( I have to finish making 4 kilts in 12 days and every hour counts.) I'm sure you'll all have a great time and I hope I can join you next time.

A Reservation has been made!
I have reserved a table for 4:00. Please be aware that this establishment does not seat anyone until EVERYONE is there. PLUS they say that they hold the reservation for TEN minutes!
It's already been pointed out how crowded this place is likely to be. Prompt arrival would be advisable.

Prompt Arrival!

Wish me luck...I'm attempting to drive in from Jersey at a time of day when the traffic is bound to be a major pain in the neck. Also, pray to the parking gods that I get something in the vicinity that I can meter feed.
bonnie heather,
sorry to hear you won't be able to come. I looked forward to meeting you and perhaps twisting your ear a bit on your kiltmaking. There's always next time though.

It's tempting but I have a party to attend in brooklyn afterwards and I have a feeling it will be more convenient that way.
Of course that means I gotta lay low on the single malts.
Hmm...I might change my mind on using mass transit based on that alone.
