I had the honor of knowing the late Shimi Lovat of WWII fame. This photo from 1990 was taken in front of Lovat's home Balblair. Shimi, my good friend and piper, Glen Thompson, our BW's and myself. Glen and I in belted plaids and Shimi in trews.
Lovat's lovely wife Rosie was behind the camera.
