I would if I could find my Kangol, I think it fell victim to one of my many moves, I may just have to go out and get one though.

    James,

I have always been unsure what was appropriate hat for formal Aztec attire. Thanks for pointing out the appropriate head gear.

    Cheers

Well, I know one thing - They sure don't wear pants!

Maybe I can claim the title of Aztec Fashion Advisor?

Well, judging by the above opinions, I thinks its a rather subjective question.

I, personally, don't wear ANY headgear when kilted. A tam, glengarry, balmoral, etc are too costumey IMO, unless you're in a pipe band.

I would, however, wear a tweed driving cap when dressed casually, say for a pub night or something. As for wearing one of my three cowboy hats.... good lord, no.

But, like the threads here about shirts, collars, hose, and brogues vs. dress shoes.... its all dependant on one's personal style.

Guess you could try a pork pie hat in place of a cowboy hat. Anything but a medieval cone hat... Although, one of those korean hats might work.

I do wear a Kangol flatcap, but don't have any pics at the moment. I will have to remedy that.

I usually wear some type of head gear if I am outside. I always remove it when indoors (as all well-bred gentlemen do).

    Here's a glengarry:

I rarely wear them anywhere but the games. I own 4 or 5.

Here is a balmoral. I have 4 or 5 of them, too.

I also have a bunch of other hats including regimental tams and other glengarrys and balmorals, but you get the picture.

I also have a couple of broad brimmed hats for sunny weather or rain, and I own a few berets, but I can't get myself to wear the berets yet. (Oh, but they look good on Panache!)

P.S. the bear is on the mantle behind me and is not part of the balmoral.

Don't recall seeing too many outdoor mantles,

    Well, it was a cabin . . .

And I was on my way out! . . .

Guess I should be more careful, huh.
