I did indeed make the bonnet myself. I was going for a historical look -- it's the one I wear at ren faires -- so I'm glad to hear that! It's a bit wider than a balmoral, which comes in handy for blocking the sun, which we get a bit more of in Florida than they do in, say, Scotland.

I just reread your post. We are playing a 19th C ball tomorrow night in Manheim, PA. The affair is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Ren Faire. Ever do anything up there?

Not to worry guys,for if we keep doing what we do here,very soon more an more will feel comfortable about wearing thier kilts where ever an when ever they like.

My son asked me why i liked wearing kilts,an i told him i love the looks i get when i look back to see if they are looking back at me.
