I am one of the new recruits for Golder Ranch Fire District!!!!
the next 4 months will be tough, but the payoff worth EVERY bit of it!!!
the Captain that has helped me get ready has told me that in payment I have to give him pipe lessons ( thats actually how we met, he was taking lessons from Vinnie, but couldnt find the time to continue)

Thats true!
now I need to put a No.1 dress uniform together ( price wise) for the honor guard....
you see I was told awhile ago before testing that I would be on the honor guard.( if hired)...and they want No.1 dress for the piper's uniform. so I might get to go shopping for myself, and the Captain

I'd like to add my congratulations too!
I am beginning to appreciate the struggle to get into this career. I have a son who is working as an EMT, enrolling in Paramedic school so that he can be a Paramedic Firefighter.
Understanding a bit about the road to travel, makes your accomplishment all that more exciting.
