I just get a blank screen with "done" at the bottom.
My Father is a Master woodworker, and does incredible scroll saw work. I have been thinking of having him design a few Cantles but needed one to show him first.
Help!
Julie
The original link worked for me but the one you quoted did not. Try this http://www.accesswave.ca/~lydiahedge...d%20Repair.htm

Bring back an old thread
I know I'm bringing back an old thread, but I was wandering if anyone attempted anything. I began thinking about alternatives, during a thread discussing 18th century brass cantles. I agree that the cantle from the link in OP looked "slapped" together. I think with the right attention to detail, wood could be used. Does anyone know if there is any historical use of wood in sporran making?

Ya, I saw this thread a long time back and thought about it, but I don't like the idea. It would be easier to make a cantle sculpture in clay, which is what I work with, then have it cast not unlike what is done with bronze etc. Might even be able to do it in silver...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
