Well, welcome,
Yes, I do still own pants. Went a couple years without then had to address the issue at work when managers changed their mind. Now kilted on my own time and at least once or twice a week at work. I pick the days.
In my early enthusiasm I bought a lot of kilts, then fatted myself out of them. Have a bunch listed for sale on the for sale forum. I don't believe a kilt I can't wear should hang around alone in the closet. I'm kind of a weird size so not many fit them, but some do and I'm happy to pass them along so the kilts have a life.
Over time, I've also found my own preference for kilts, which is Kathy Lare hand sewn and USA Kilts semi-trads and Freedom Kilt dress and RKilt leather. Some of the kilts I'm offering for sale are to reinvest in semi-trads, and of course the eggplant leather.
Being half way between 63 and 64 I think I've sort of aged out of Utilikilts, though I really love my brown leather UK.
And I have a hand sewn on order from Kathy now, Macdonald of the Isles Hunting weathered.
So, I guess the answer is yes, and no.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
