Very nice indeed. I only wish I could see the under robes better. From the glimpses at collar and cuff, that green looks beautiful as well.
I particularly like your obi.

"what do you wear under your Kimono?"
"Samurai"
or "Scotsmen"
Whichever you prefer.
I did know a guy who when asked by a rather uncouth young man what was under the kilt, the scotsman replied with "Your girlfriend's lipstick".
Of course, he liked picking fights, so probably not the best role model . . . ;-)}

If I had run into you wearing it, I must admit that I would be curious as to whether the robe comprised the whole of the garment or just the outer layer. However, I would NEVER be so crass as to ask if you were wearing underwear.
I would also like to add that you look very beautiful in it.

We do have to remember that "the question" is not always meant to be suggestive. Often others will see the kilt (and kimonos) as worn only for special occasions and might think that there is something special to be worn under them.
If I can sense that the person is truly seeking knowledge and not just trying to be funny, I will explain to them that you wear what you want to under the garment, and nothing special is required.

It is inappropriate. You wouldn't ask someone wearing trousers what they were wearing underneath. But I suppose it's brought about by the whole mystique that's been created around "The Question."
I don't know why anyone would have the temerity to ask a woman in a kimono, though. A woman in a floor-length dress would be offended. Isn't it the same thing?
