Bienvenue From Roswell Georgia!. For you next kilt, check out the Randonnee Breton tartan. Here is a link to a thread by one of our members who owns one.

Welcome, Ludo, from the wet and rainy south coast of England.
Bradley is not quite correct when he says that I have two Breton kilts - I have three! First was the 'Breton National', then came the 'Randonnée Bretonne' and, more recently, the 'Bro-Leon'. I also have a Crail-style jacket and waistcoat in brown corduroy which, like the kilts, came from Richard at La Maison du Kilt.

Take care,
Ham.

Wooh Thank you all for these warm welcomes. I see the Brittany tartan are already known all around the kilt world ;-) I read Hamish has 63 kilts in 2006, maybe be more in 2008 ! He has a nice Brittany pin too Ermine or Hermine in french. That's the coat of arms of Brittany as perhaps you know. And the motto is : "Plutôt la mort que la souillure" ("Rather Death than stain") ou "Jamais souillée" ("Never Stained"). Celts are proud. And Celt plus French you can imagine ;-)
I choose my Bro Kerne (Cornouaille) Tartan because 50% of my ancestors came from this country. And Bro Kerne is pronounced : Bro (like the Bro in brother) Gerné (G like the begenning of Gaylord, Air, Ne like the begenning of Nebraska).
I'm glad to be here.
Have a nice day
Ludo
