I also have a semi-trad in Navy tartan, and adore it. It's the fabulous. 
Good luck in the Navy, and don't get wrapped up too tightly in Nuke school.

BB, the Nuke program is very intense, but rewarding. Enjoy the kilt, and enjoy your time in the Navy.
