Unfortunately, I'm now not sure I'll be there. I'm in Tucson for what originally was going to be just a couple of days, but has turned into a more extended stay as the summer job I thought I was going to have in Flag has evaporated, and I'm having an alternative dangled at me down here in the Little Big Heat.
So... expect me if you see me. If I'm there, I'll still be wearing my MacMedic kilt.

I got roped into covering work for the weekend by a partner whose father in law is dying out of town and who needs to get back east for the end. But I think I got another partner to cover me for most if not all of Saturday so I can attend as originally planned. As a relative newbie to the kilt (just a few months) and so out of shape I make a bowling pin look like a healthy shape I will definitely not be seen on the field of manly competition.
I will be wearing either Forrester Modern or MacDonald Ancient with a hat of some sort to cover by poor balding pate, and with wife and MacDonald Modern kilted three month old son in tow in a big red stroller. We made the Verde Valley games a month or so ago and are looking forward to this even bigger event. At 6'5" and 270# I should be hard to miss.

Well, barring anything weird, Red_Raven_Studios and I will be there on Saturday.

My buddy Todd and his Wife, Drobin are carpooling up there on Saturday. I'll be there with my girlfriend and we've reserved a hotel up there, so that we can stay the night. The following day we're going to go to a Winery in Camp Verde, go see the Tuzigoot National Monument, and then drive over to the Payson area and see the Tonto National Bridge.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I'm going to try and be there around 10:00 AM if possible but no later than 11:00 for sure. I'll either be wearing my California Tartan so that I'll match my girlfriend, or my fairly new Purple Scottish Heritage.
See you all there!

I'm still up in the air, still depends on the Retreat schedule, but if I'm there should have a lady on each arm....

Well, you helped me make up my mind as to what tartan to wear, John. If you're wearing the Robertson Red, then I'll wear my Robertson Hunting.

Sounds like there's going to be a sizeable rabble up there! How about we plan a time to meet & get a few pics taken? They haven't posted the schedule for the Games, but previously, they had the official opening ceremony & March of the Clans at Noon. How about we meet after that, say, behind the covered seating area for the main stage? Other suggestions?

I may be wearing the Robertson Red.
I may also be in my cassock and cross. Haven't decided yet.
Yaish, I found out that there is no piping competition at this Highland festival...yet, so Joey will not be competing. We'll bring our pipes, I think.
