Jordan V. Cripe
1989-2008
Jordan Vincent Cripe was born at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California on August 4, 1989 and passed away May 1, 2008 at UCLA Medical Center.
He grew up in Lompoc and was in his senior year at Cabrillo High School. He worked diligently at school, had a wonderful smile, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Jordan had a kind heart towards everyone, and loved visiting with teachers and friends.
He took golf and guitar lessons, and was talented at shooting baskets. He loved to watch the Lakers, and was a Star Wars fan. He enjoyed writing, drawing, and playing video games while listening to his large collection of music. He especially loved to attend activities and services held at St. Timothy Orthodox Church.
Jordan is survived by his parents, Kathryn and Jerry Cripe, and his older brother Daniel Cripe of Lompoc, two grandmothers, Nancy Knoll of San Luis Obispo and Louise Cripe of Glendora, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jordan valiantly battled cancer and a heart and lung condition. He endured much and touched the hearts of many. He will be truly missed and will always be loved. May his memory be eternal.
